finding shoes that fit
When I stopped growing (at the end of my adolescence) my shoe size was a 10 in Australian sizing. However, I have found that as I have got older, my feet have somehow got bigger and wider. After having children, I found my feet had increased by a full 2 sizes! Now I am wear a size 12 shoe comfortably. When it comes to ladies footwear, that is a size that is extremely difficult to find off the shelf in a variety of styles. It is not just the fancy shoes that I need to be concerned about; even sneakers can be notoriously difficult to find that fit correctly. I have generally resulted to wearing men’s sneakers just so I can stay comfortable. I was able to find some ladies sneakers online in my size that I find irresistably cute and have always wanted a pair of. finding hosiery that fits
I love stockings, long socks and thigh highs. But the thing with having long legs, a big ass AND big feet is finding hosiery that actually fits all of these areas. Especially sexy, pretty and comfortable hosiery that doesn’t look like they should be worn by a dude. Hosiery, regardless of length or type, has a heel and a toe section, so if those points on the sock or stocking don’t your physical body, then there has to be compensation from other places in the clothing. The length gets shorter, which means the waist isn’t as high which means things bust apart very easily from the constant pulling and adjusting to keep things in place. getting stepped on
Just like anything else which is bigger than others around you, having big feet means they are going to get in the way and inevitably stepped on. In crowds, I am very used to having people step all over my feet and they literally having no idea that they are doing so! I rode and trained horses for many years which gives me the advantage of being able to withstand the punishment of human feet stamping all over mine. After having horses weighing between 3ookgs and a tonne stepping on you, in comparison, a human is an easy weight to bear.
sore feet
Despite the best plans of making sure my shoes fit well, inevitably, I will squeeze them into something not so comfortable and end up with very sore feet. Going barefoot is a preference of mine, but that has it’s own challenges too! In the harsh Australian climate, barefeet get a lot of damage and you need to take special care of them so they don’t get too terribly dried and cracked. I enjoy a regular pedicure to keep my feet in tip top comdition, and you can see me doing my own home pedicure in “PAWG with Big Pretty Feet.” But who can resist a professional pedicure where I can kick back and get pampered? Toe rings and anklets
I love jewellery, especially things that sparkle and make pretty noises. But when you have big feet, which are usually accompanied by big toes and big ankles, finding pretty jewellery to adorn them with is an absolute challenge! I usually give up when looking for such pretty things as it becomes incredibly depressing when all the petite ladies can get cute things for their ankles and toes and I feel destined to stay adorned…
