Custom videos are a great gift to yourself, and the best way to see exactly what you want from me. You get to direct the clip from start to end, including all the bits and pieces that you want. But how do you go about ordering a clip? Welcome to my starters guide to ordering custom clips starring Rem Sequence!
You Can Order direct from me – or through one of my sites
To go through the whole process of getting a custom clip made, you have two options. You can either order through my profile on ManyVids, Clips4Sale or IWantClips or you can speak to me directly via email to collaborate on your clip.
The benefits of ordering through a website are that you are walked through the process of the clip order by the site itself. You can see what options I have available and quickly see the prices. Although I prefer customers give me a quick message to let me know they will be ordering a custom clip and checking that their idea is doable, people can just order without without having any contact with me.
By using a site to place your video order, you can also track the progress of your order. You will be able to select a delivery time and if I don’t deliver within that period, you will be refunded. (Although I would like to note this has never happened; I am always timely and do my best to impress my customers!)
If you decide to order a clip directly from me, we can have a conversation over email about exactly what you want, and particularly if the clip idea is a bit complex, collaborating directly usually results in a better end product. Some may worry about my delivering the clip if the middle man (one of my clipsites) is cut out, but I have plenty of testimonials from fans who have ordered multiple custom clips without any issue (check my home page for just some of these).

1. Have a loose idea or a full blown script for your custom video
The first step is for you to work out what you want your clip to be about. This can be a basic idea which we can build together, or you can have a complete script for me to follow. Even if you have something in between this, that is fine. I have made a lot of clips so I will be able to let you know any issues we will face in bringing your vision to life.
Have a think about where you want the clip set, what you want me to wear during it and how you want hair and makeup to be. All of these are important factors in putting the clip together in exactly the way you want it.
2. How long do you want your custom video to be?
Because I work on a per minute basis for custom clips, have a think about how long you want your clip to be. My minimum custom clip length is 10 minutes, and I have done videos for people up to 30 minutes in length. Not only is the length important for how much the clip is going to cost you, but it is also imperative in structuring your ideas and making sure everything you want in it can be accommodated. People can sometimes overestimate how much can be done in a period of time, as factors such as editing come into play also. I spend about three times as long editing clips as I do filming the raw footage, so all of this is taken into account when structuring every facet of a custom clip.
3. How to pay for your custom video
I am flexible when it comes to payment options. As payments to and from Australia are… ahem… problematic, I generally accept tips through my current sites for direct payments. Depending on what site you use the most, we can discuss which is the easiest. We can talk through the messaging platform on your chosen site or through email, whatever suits you best, I aim to please!
Full payment is always made upfront before I begin working on the clip. Also, if you would like the clip to remain exclusive (for your eyes only and not to be sold or distributed elsewhere) there is an additional charge. Please ask if you would like to take advantage of this option. Otherwise, your clip will be offered for general sale on my other sites which in one respect is really cool as other people can see what we have come up with. Some of my most popular clips on my platforms have been custom orders!
4. When and how does your custom video get delivered
Timeline for delivery is a standard minimum two weeks. People have asked for quicker delivery, but the issues with my health and my personal life mean I need to stay firm on two weeks. It gives me enough to organise things and also allows some breathing space for if I become unwell.
When it comes to delivery, there are a couple of different options. For clips that are ordered through one of my sites, then they will be uploaded to that site for you to download. If you order direct from me, you will get an email from me with a link to download the clip.
All the clips I make are kept in my collection, so if at any point you lose your copy, you can contact me to send it to you again. If you have opted for your clip to be resold (so non-exclusive) then it will be released to the public only after delivery to you.
